Road Skills Testing

1st Stop Driving Center is a state-approved third-party road skills testing site located in Baton Rouge.

Registration Requirements

• Age 16: Must hold a valid learner's permit for at least 180 days.
• Age 17: Must present either a valid learner's permit or a Certificate of Completion for the Teen Driver Education Course.
• Age 18 or older: Must present a Certificate of Completion for the Adult Pre-Licensing Course.

A parent or legal guardian must be present to sign consent forms for any applicant under 18. Physically or mentally handicapped individuals must complete the road test at the DMV.

Road Skills Test – Our Car

Once registration requirements are met, you may take the official road skills test at our driving school using our vehicle. The test is a practical, on-the-road assessment that measures your ability to operate a vehicle safely and demonstrate knowledge of driving laws and techniques.

You must score 80 or above to pass.
